Following a Pot-luck dinner at noon, Steve Pearson told about his recent trip and teaching mission to Malawi. In spite of the much maligned “small screen,” we got a glimpse of life in this small, poor nation and the natural wonders of Africa.
Games and fun of all sorts filled the afternoon, plus contests to choose the most beautiful fall centerpiece and the most impressive vegetable. And, of course, there was time for singing and coffee.
As a fun(d)raiser for mission, we raised $269! Thanks.
